Belize to Guatemala

Out of Belize and on way to Guatemala, this is a border day so not much happening except it rained hard... River boat struggling in the current...

Gladly the rain stopped and the border was easy, everyone helpful, early is best :)

I wish camera picked out the depth of the hills... so beautiful

Made it to Flores island on a pretty lake...

Next day, started out on the unpaved road through the mountains, fun at first but even b4 I could get a camera going it rained so bad I turned back and took the coast road... Note to self - check and re-check weather in the moring!

Gasolina!

Stayed in port town of Rio Dulce, transit town, bit dodge, lots of guards around the banks.

'Real Rio' was half built but secure parking :)

Next stop Antigua... !
