Humid Howler
It rained hard all night, cleared by morning. The place I stayed was beautiful old family home, host had left out eggs and cheese for breakfast.
Head north towards Palenque and cooler mountains...
Heavy rain, i had to stop because it... hurts!
Check forecast, another front coming in from behind, clear ahead so pushed on over the mountain....
Glad to be out the other side..it was nuts.
About 6000ft up a pretty town, Sunday and everyone's in their finest
obsessed with cooling off, I stopped at the Agua Azul Waterfalls..
This kid would not stop asking me to buy nasty cheerio things, I had gave him a carrot and he left me alone after bringing his friend for carrot too.
It rained all the way in to Palenque, at one point I thought I had a puncture... a little bit of back break and I skid immediately... The road is somehow its like glass...!
Hot and humid and raining, I'm soaked through with the humidity. Wearing motorcycle boots over legs with mosquito bites is unpleasant to say the least... not feeling very happy about being on the outskirts of a jungle...
Neither is the bike, everything is saturated... Eat a can of tuna in my room.. night draws, thunder and lighting rolls in and Howler monkeys arrive, and eerie sound, soon get used to them and drift off to sleep with a new friend...
