Fresno, LA and Sunset beach!

So after Yosemite I stayed in Fresno and like some dignitary once rudely said about his trip to Newcastle:

"its a great place you can be in and out in minutes".

Head south through LA, arrive Sunset beach and a local bar to meet my old buddy Amy, haven't seen her in ooooh 20 years or something...

She drives a big ol' truck of course!

Quite the close community, this lass finds out i'm from Newcastle and buys me a drink. She a Mackem!

Its sooo good to see my old friend, nothing has changed, good catch up :) She lives just off the beach!

Great couple of days here, Amy is definatly into keeping fit, gets up at 5 am and does 2hrs work out every day!

She also likes eggs :)

Taken to an old surf bar Blakie's By The Sea, on Huntington, have my first PBC beer, served just above freezing it is lush! I'm very enthusiastic about this drink...

We go for a 50 50 burger with her buddys. Its also lush, half pork half beef... mmm

Sadly its time to go to San Diego the last stop before... MEXICO!!!

Good buy to awesome Amy, she's defiantly a Geordie at heart. Byeee!

I can't say i did much at the next stop in San Diago, just bought Mex motorcycle insurance and planned the route for the permit stuff I have to do...
