The weather was good, bring on the sights of Yosemite and some dirt tails I've read about...!

On the way...

is Mariposa.  They're having a parade!

Gold rush ladies of the night...

Its the butterfly festival, they release butterflies, no one can say why.

Kid starts to cry.

Its lots of cars n stuff, mainly cars

n trucks

At a garage a guy comes up to me and I work out what he said after this exchange...  I manged it just by repeating his words. He says

'gut som nu knobleys?

'Nu knobleys yes' I say 

'Gowna git som' he says 

Smiling 'yes gowna git som'

He nods smiling too 

New nobbly tryres, get some dirt roads :)

So the weather starts to turn...

After paying my $25 I see this

the weather really does turn...

and thennnn this... see the happy face.

Fog is so bad only 10m visabilty, I give up on finding a dirt trail, the road there is closed anyhow. Temp is around two or three degrees...Yosemite can git some.

Head to Fresno... can only get better right?
