A bad slippy clutch...

becomes a nice new good clutch.

So I took a course in motorcycle manitenance and although I got a basic understanding of how bikes work, I ruined an old Susuki gt250, just would'nt start again...
Thanks to Grant my Hondi San is working! It has new clutch plates, rebuilt forks, new break and radiator fluids and.. and... AND...
A plastic thingie to cover my electric socket...

from.. HIS PLASTIC THINGIE BAG, where he keeps all the plastic thingies, that so many of us recklessly throw away...

Got to love that man, thank you.

So... looking confident as ever...

Good bye from Pup

and off we go!
Head south and through Umpqua national forest to the coast and California!

how not to angle a camera:
It gets worse:
The Pacific. Cold but purty.

Book an airbnb in Crescent City, turns out to be nasty. At least a dog came into my room and licked its ass...

Morning and rode the coast road

but decided to turn inland as its cold, aiming for Sacramento then the mighty Yosemite mountans for some good dirt.

Inland soon got 31 degrees hot!

Lovely ride into the valley but I still need to work on that camera angle:
Massive landslide!
Finally reach Sacramento and nice lodgings...
Tomorrow the mountan!
